Chrease Coleman, MA LMHC
As a therapist, I believe the ability to connect with others relies on providing a safe, secure environment to discuss personal issues. My aim is to build mutual relationships and empower clients to create meaningful change. I appreciate working with clients that understand that change is a process and are motivated to do the work in and out of the session. I believe that therapy is a process where you can gain tools to address life’s challenges, gain insight, determine what you’d like to change about it, and work towards making those changes while navigating all the thoughts, feelings, and emotions that may come up in the process.
I approach therapy from a relational, integrative, and multicultural framework with skills grounded in evidence-based approaches. I would describe myself as warm, compassionate, and empathetic, and I believe in starting wherever you are comfortable and meeting you at where you are.
Seeking therapy can be an uncomfortable experience and takes a lot of courage. Making the initial appointment is the first step of the healing process, which is why I am committed to creating a safe space for you.
It would be an honor to walk alongside you on your journey.
